                        報告人简介: 

                        Fabien Arnaud is a director of research at the French National Centre of Scientific Research (CNRS). He is currently the head of CNRS laboratory “Environment Dynamics and Territories of the Mountains” at Chambéry, University Savoie Mont Blanc and the scientific leader of the National Centre for Drilling and Coring for continental records. His research focuses on the reconstruction of critical zone dynamics submitted to Human and non-human forcing factors based on the study of lake sediment records.

                            Fabien Arnaud has been recognised as one of the leaders in France in the study of past human-climate-environment interactions and won CNRS Bronze Medal in 2010. In 2011, his expertise led the CNRS to propose him the leadership of the national centre for coring continental records in the framework of CLIMCOR excellence project. He had published some papers at Nature Communications, Science Advances, PNAS, QSR, Scientific Reports, and so on. Currently, Fabien Arnaud leads and participates in several research programs in several continents in order to seek for the fingerprints of ancient and modern civilisations onto environment dynamics.
